Friday, February 24th – Meet the Author, 6pm, $50 per person tax and gratuity not included. Reservation required.
Local Treasure Stephen Dahl will be here to talk about his book Knife Island, Circling the Year in a Herring Skiff. As Louis Jenkins writes: “Stephen Dahl seems to have found a life that suits him perfectly, an occupation that is physically demanding, yet allows time for reflection, a life that allows as much independence, probably, as one can expect in this world. Being a fisherman is an ancient calling, a calling that demands solitude and patience, a patience that is rewarded by moments of luminosity and sometimes fish.”

We will develop our wine palates one grape at a time, and concentrate on two great varietal wines each session. You will have an opportunity to buy Ms. Robinson’s book, although the book is not necessary to enjoy the session. You will also receive handouts to take home that will cover the main information on these grapes and wines. $25 per person each session (includes tax & gratuity), all sessions at start at 6pm. This session will focus on Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay wines, again from around the world. Taste the difference between French White Burgundy and California Chardonnays, and between New Zealand and French Sauvignon Blancs. Again, there will be small plates from Chef Sean Lewis.
